Hello, I have a Intel P965 motherboard ans I have to use a 2.6.19 kernel if I want to use correctly this card (or a patched 2.6.18 but support is not good). These day, I use a fedora core 6 (a patched 2.6.18.1). But I can not boot a windows in fully vitrualization (I have a success with a linux (but some keyboard and mouse problem)). The fedora use an 3.0.3-rc3 xen and I want test the latest xen. My question: How built a recent kernel with a recent xen ? I didn''t found howto about this customisation. Thank for your help. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

I haven''t tried patching 2.6.19. -- Nick Craig-Wood <nick@craig-wood.com> -- http://www.craig-wood.com/nick _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

I haven''t tried patching > 2.6.19.Ok, thank you. I will try to do that. I have seen that a lot of xen patch are already included in the 2.6.19 tree (xen patch are backported patch ?). I will report success and failed. Olivier _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

It worked last time I tried it just fine!> Can I assume that the linux-2.6-xen-sparse/ directory containes a > valid candidate for patching my 2.6.19-rc5 ?I used to do patches like that until I worked out about mkpatches so it should work, but might be a bit more effort. -- Nick Craig-Wood <nick@craig-wood.com> -- http://www.craig-wood.com/nick _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
