Hi I have setup xen3.0.2.on two nodes, I try to migrate a vm from one to the other , I have modified xend-config.sxp ,by uncommenting (xend-relocation-server yes) and (xend-relocation-port 8002) I put the vm conf file and img file in a nfs node which the two xen node can get access to but it does not work with the error as follows Error: (104, ''Connection reset by peer'') Xend.log in the sender node : [2006-09-13 09:17:43 xend] ERROR (xmlrpclib2:124) (104, ''Connection reset by peer'') Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python/xen/util/xmlrpclib2.py", line 103, in _marshaled_dispatch response = self._dispatch(method, params) File "/usr/lib/python2.3/SimpleXMLRPCServer.py", line 407, in _dispatch return func(*params) File "/usr/lib/python/xen/xend/XendDomain.py", line 417, in domain_migrate sock.recv(80) error: (104, ''Connection reset by peer'') xend.log in the receiver node: [2006-09-13 09:19:58 xend] WARNING (tcp:73) Rejected connection from 10.10.107.1:57983 (10.10.107.1) for port 8002. By default a relocation server will only accept VMs from localhost. You probably need to expand this to include your remote host. Sorry, I can''t specify the exact parameter - I don''t have access to my XEN server at the moment. Thank you for your reply connection was rejected, the sender can ping ,ssh the receiver , but when it comes to migrate ,connection was rejected ,how can I connect it to migrate vm successfully? , -----邮件原件----- 发件人: xen-users-bounces@lists.xensource.com [mailto:xen-users-bounces@lists.xensource.com] 代表 Tom Z. What do you mean "img file" ? To boot a vm ,xen need a conf file and a img file , img file is that. Yesterday ,you give me a reply and a suggestion ,but it does not work This:> > error: (104, ''Connection reset by peer'') >and this:> xend.log in the receiver node: > > [2006-09-13 09:19:58 xend] WARNING (tcp:73) Rejected connection from > 10.10.107.1:57983 (10.10.107.1) for port 8002. >together means that. So tell us where is the above config from? Config file is used to boot a vm ,is it clear? connection was rejected, the sender can ping ,ssh the receiver , but when it comes to migrate ,connection was rejected ,how can I connect it to migrate vm successfully? ,> /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp[...] -- Tom Napierala DB Alliance Limited North Point House, New Mallow Road, Cork, Ireland The National Software Centre, Mahon, Cork, Ireland _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

By default this is set to ^localhost which should be changed to allow other hosts.
