[Xen-users] DomU crashes on reboot -- with hack-fix included...
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, on a single-processor-amd64-machine running Xen 3.0.2 (or Xen-testing as of this noon) reboots of domU don''t work if another domU is using much CPU. The domU which has just been re-started panics saying that it cannot mount it''s /-filesystem. I suspect that this is a race codition (which happens to not occur very often), as the attached patch to Xend (wait 5 seconds before re-creating the domain and unpausing it) fixes it. Any comments, or thoughts on what might be the problem with the Xend code? I noticed that when rebooting a domU, there is never a line saying "(DevController:132) Waiting for devices vbd" in the Xend log, as is when creating a domain. Might this be the problem?
