[Xen-users] dom0 and domU with different kernel versions
Latest version of xen came out. I don''t want to upgrade my dom0 becuase that would mean rebooting it. I would like to know if its a good idea to upgrade the kernels of my domU''s and leave dom0 to the old version? Just want to know what other people do about upgrading. I don''t want to be upgrading dom0 too often. Thank you. -- Website: http://www.mooktakim.com email: mma@mooktakim.com _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Note that the converse case works: you can upgrade dom0/Xen/tools and leave the domUs, but not the other way round. Depending on the upgrade you are making, this may work, however I don''t believe we make guarantees about it always working (yet)... Cheers, Mark -- Dave: Just a question.
