Xen users - Apr 2006 - Successful Adaptation of "Xen and the Art of Consolidation"

Hello all!
 
 I have a system which I would like to use the following setup
 
 http://www.shorewall.net/XenMyWay.html
 
 Unfortunately it applies to an older version of shorewall. 
 
 I get the following errors starting the shorewall service
 
 + fatal_error ''Invalid Action in rule "Ping/ACCEPT loc
fw"''
 + echo ''   Error: Invalid Action in rule "Ping/ACCEPT loc
fw"''
    Error: Invalid Action in rule "Ping/ACCEPT loc fw"
 + ''['' start = check '']''
 + stop_firewall
 + ''['' -n /var/lib/shorewall/shorewall.ti3EmK
'']''
 + rm -f /var/lib/shorewall/shorewall.ti3EmK
 + case $COMMAND in
 + set +x
 Processing /etc/shorewall/stop ...
    Warning: Unknown routestopped option ignored: source
 IP Forwarding Enabled
 Processing /etc/shorewall/stopped ...
 
 My question has anyone succefully gotten this setup working with xen...If so do
you know what changes to the fw zone and compatability thereove have to be made
to this setup to get it working?
 
 If someone shares with me enough info to get it working I will publish it in a
wiki or submit it to shorewall for them to post the changes.

Please post your Shorewall problems on the Shorewall list. Your postings on 
the #shorewall channel the last two days indicate that your Shorewall 
configuration files are a complete mess.

Please:

	a) Tar up your /etc/shorewall/ directory (compressed).
	b) Post it to shorewall-users@lists.sourceforge.net

We will try to straighten it out for you.
