Hi There, I have few questions. Does the current version of OpenSolaris on Xen support live migration? I also wanted to make sure it''s Xen 3.0 not Xen 2.x as indicated in several places. Lastly, has anybody ever tried to run regular Solaris 10 DomU as barre metal on top of Xen 3.0 / Intel VT-x or AMD Pacifica hardware? I''m busy working on SMP suspend/resume now.> I also wanted to make sure it''s Xen 3.0 not Xen 2.x as indicated in > several places.Which places? We moved to a Xen 3 snapshot before we released the source. Your questions would have been better placed on xen-discuss at opensolaris.org, by the way. regards, john _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

So, is it incorporated in http://dlc.sun.com/osol/xen/downloads/osox-src-12-02-2006.tar.gz? If not, where to get it? I assume http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/xen/howto/create-osox-domu/ is no longer applicable then. Patrick

IfI''m afraid not, that''s still the old original release. Unfortunately doing these releases is still a rather manual process; hopefully in the future we can get these to be more frequent.> not, where to get it? I assumeRight now, you''d have to get it all internally, with all the fun that entails... (i.e. we haven''t got a documented procedure). regards, john
