[Xen-users] Red Hat Enterprise 4 and XEN (with Fedora 5 as Host)?
Hi there, I read a similar question awhile ago, but I didn''t see an answer, so I thought I could risk asking again: I would like to install Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 64 bit as a guest system on a Fedora 64 bit host system. Can that be done easily? If not, could someone point me to some documentation about how to do it? Everything I could find so far only applied to installing the same system as host and guest. Thanks in advance for the help Christian Best regards DATATRAK Deutschland GmbH Christian Feddern Systems Engineer, Systems Development Rochusstrasse 65 53123 Bonn / Germany Tel.:+49.228.97983-49 Fax.:+49.228.97983-546 christian.feddern@datatrak.net _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Easiest way would be to do a "native" install in another partition on your disk, then point the domain config file at that partition for its virtual disk. That way you can install as usual using Anaconda. What use is a unicyle with no seat? And no pedals! Mark: To answer a question with a question: What use is a skateboard? Dave: Skateboards have wheels. Mark: My wheel has a wheel! _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
