Hello, Can I set an IP address in a guest domain in a config file ? Once there was an "ip=..." option in the config file. I tried it and it did not work ; I mean that ifconfig -a after creating the domU only showed the local interfacte (lo). Also it gave a warning that the "nics" option is deprecated. for nics = 1 line Mark _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Hi, Did you tried it ? I added: vif = [''ip=192.168.0.193''] to the config file (myConfig) and ran : xm create myConfig And I am getting : Error: Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Backend device not found. Any idea ? This works for me ;) -- Szerintem.
