Hello, Has anybody tried Xen on VMware workstation ? Is there any reason this combination will not work ? I tried this on Fedora 3. I could install xen on VMware workstation running Linux Guest (Fedora 3). But Dom0 resets while booting half-way. Has anybody got this working ? VMware player runs on my laptop (Ubuntu 5.10) and both dom0 and DomU run Debian Sarge. Unfortunately the dom0''s networking breaks down (meaning the dom0 doesn''t respond to any packet, not even to ARP requests, but tcpdump on the dom0 still shows that packets are received, just not answered) as soon as I start xend, and I don''t have a clue why. As I said, booting works, starting a domU works, but networking doesn''t. Hey, oh right, you said 2.0. Sorry, I''m only talking about 3.0, so please ignore my mail :) Regards, Mosu -- LINET Services GbR Gotenweg 15 Tel.: 0531-280 191 71 38106 Braunschweig Fax.: 0531-280 191 72 linet-services.de mailto:info@linet-services.de _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com lists.xensource.com/xen-users
