You can get such a kernel off the test CD. Please post the diff between native and the two Xen versions. NB: When you modify your kernel, are you sure that enabling the SiS9000 ethernet card is the only modification you''re making? Are you sure you''re not turning CONFIG_X86_UP_IOAPIC off? Are you sure you are putting the apic= line on the *Xen* grub line, not Linux? Are you sure > you''re not turning CONFIG_X86_UP_IOAPIC off?Yes, I am sure. Am am even not sure anymore if I modified the kernel at all. Is it possible that the kernel delivered in the binary package does not support the sis900 while the kernel form the source package, when I build it on my own, supports sis900 out of the box? (I use the *-xen kernel, NOT the *-xen0 or *-xenU, read somewhere that the *-xen kernel is what is supposed to be used for dom0 and domU''s. Is that right?> Are you sure you are > putting the apic= line on the *Xen* grub line, not Linux? >The contrary - I am sure that I put the acpi=off in the Linux Kernel grub line and never even tried to use this on the xen grub line! Does that make everything said in this thread invalid? Henning _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
