I am noticing many bug fixes, code cleanups, and improvements being committed to -unstable over the past few weeks and little or no commits to 3.0-testing. Is a back port of some of these to 3.0-testing expected to happen soon? I am almost tempted to try running -unstable, but I see much has changed regarding XenStore, udev, etc and don''t want to risk completely destroying one of our beta servers. It seems futile to keep submitting bug reports for the developers against 3.0-testing when many of these bugs may well be and/or are resolved in -unstable. Thank you, Matt Ayres (Sent to both -devel and -users as I believe this pertains to both) _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel

If there are no back ports before a release then there is no point to a 3.0-testing tree. At some point in the next few weeks we''ll sweep -unstable into 3.0-testing and gear up for a 3.0.1 release. Will those be added into 3.0-testing?I''ve mostly only been pushing more critical bug fixes to xen-3.0- testing, so I wasn''t planning on adding these. I don''t think mkpatches is widely used or that critical, so it probably wouldn''t hurt to add these patches if you really want them. robert _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
