Xen users - Dec 2005 - mtpbase

I am having problems getting xen0 to load on a Celestica quad AMD box, I 
can''t do a
/sbin/mkinitrd /boot/initrd-2.6.12-xen0.img 2.6.12.6-xen0

because it can''t find the mptbase module for xen0

Any suggestions?
