FreeBSD 5 will currently only work on the 2.0 branch. You''ll likely
need to
roll your own kernel as the pre-compiled one is a bit dodgy in places.

5.3 should work again on -unstable in the not too distant future. Once that
is done 6.0 shouldn''t be far off.
