> Does Xen also support cdrom and floppy devices? For domain 0 (the "host" VM), sure thing. Plumbing through to the guests should work too after a fashion but they will see them just as another block device, rather than a floppy / CD-ROM. There was some problem with exporting CD-ROM drives that I didn''t really understand. In fact, there was a problem with exporting any "whole" block device but I thought that had been fixed (can anyone confirm / deny?). However, that information may not be much help for fedora core users... -Yvette _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

According to Yvette, it does work now, so it''s strange that it''s broken for you. Can you look at the link posted: http://www.option-c.com/xwiki/Xen_CDROM_Support And see if it helps any? If you still can''t make it work, can you please post your config file?> Yes, the cdrom drive can be accesed (for me) from dom0.Good, I thought it would. I suspect that''ll fix your problem.
