Hi all, The next XCP community call is somewhat overdue, and many things have happened in the intervening time. In particular, Stephen Spector has sadly (for us) moved on to new projects, so we currently don''t have a community manager to organise such things as these calls. Until we get someone (or two!) to fill Stephens role, I''ll temporarily try to organise at least the next call. Previously there was some discussion about time zones, in particular I believe we were trying to make time a little more convenient for our Asian participants. So if you''d like to attend the call, please give me a mail and let me know your time zone, and I''ll try and maximise the number of people that can join us conveniently. I''d also like to ask if there is anyone who would particularly like to talk - I believe that before Stephen left we were soliciting participation from any cloud providers who are interested in XCP. If you''d like to talk a little, please contact me directly. Thanks everyone, Jon Ludlam _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Hi Grant, We'll be talking a little about the next release, the development process, we've got a couple of cloud providers talking and a bit about the new VHD caching feature. At one point, there was some talk about OFED (InfiniBand support) getting added into XCP. Is that still on the roadmap? I did not see anything about OFED in the slide you posted. -----Original Message----- From: xen-users-bounces@lists.xensource.com [mailto:xen-users-bounces@lists.xensource.com] On Behalf Of Jonathan Ludlam Sent: Thursday, October 14, 2010 7:46 AM To: Jonathan Ludlam Cc: xen-devel@lists.xensource.com; Xen List; xen-api Subject: Re: [Xen-users] XCP community call Hi all, I''ve put some slides on the wiki at: http://wiki.xen.org/xenwiki/XCP_Monthly_Meetings Cheers, Jon On 11 Oct 2010, at 13:15, Jonathan Ludlam wrote:> Hi all, > > Thanks for your replies. Hi Jonathan! I teach one day classes, called "ShowDay", using Xen Cloud Platform, here in São Paulo - Brazil. Also, I was a speaker at LinuxCon Brazil, my talk was a demonstration of the system that I made, the Xen Live CD. Stephen gave me this opportunity and was a very rewarding job! Because of all that, I even got to meet John Maddog and Linus Torvalds personally in a VIP dinner, it was awesome! A geek dream becoming reality! :-P I am available to help as I can!
