[Xen-devel] disk=phy:ftp/data,0803,w at cmdline
The xm create command line doesn''t seem to support the specification of target devices by <major><minor>. # xm create -c disk=phy:ftp/data,0803,w intsrv on xend.log: [2005-02-01 18:26:00 xend] DEBUG (__init__:988) exception looking up device number for 0803: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: ''/dev/0803'' I also wonder if the device will be added to the list of devices already in the configuration file or if it will replace them. As I get that error, I didn''t get to check that. Running xend with ''start_trace'' might offer some enlightenment. Mike: any idea what''s going on here?> I also wonder if the device will be added to the list of > devices already > in the configuration file or if it will replace them. As I get that > error, I didn''t get to check that.I believe it will override all disks in the config file, though you should be able to specify multiple disks.
