Hi, sometimes wine prefixes get messed up just by updating wine for a long time, e.g. from wine 1.2 via 1.3.x to 1.4. So it may be wise to start with a new wineprefix and reinstall the applications. If it worked in the past with emulation mode set to something different than "WinXP" and/or "Win7", I'd say, it is an regression, though maybe not with a high priority.
