wine users - Apr 2012 - lib32asound2 important? (Possible Permanent Pulseaudio fix)

Because as soon as I installed it, I was able to get all of my sounds to work
properly, including Pulseaudio. It's a better fix than to just remove
Pulseaudio all together, because it would mess up my multitasking for other
programs that require sound.

I'm assuming this because nowadays most people use 64bit OS's, so it
might be important.

You answered your own question. Wine requires 32-bit libraries to run 32-bit
programs.
