When you are trying to run a program with Wine it is recommended to check if there are some test results in AppDB. I've searched for it using Google like that: Overgrowth appdb and here it is. (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=20452&iTestingId=70438) There is HOWTO that mentions installing of vcrun2005 and creating an empty "hwreport.txt" in the /Overgrowth/Data/ folder to get the game running. Anyway Wolfire Games are close to release the Alpha for Linux: Overgrowth For Linux Is Almost Ready (http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTA3Nzk).
