search for: vc80

Does anybody knows how to make the game run? It installs just fine, but won't run. I have been searching all over the web to find a solution, but not haven't found a single webpage or thread about it?

I am trying to install wine (1.3.24) from winehq for fedora and sketchup (8) on a Fedora-15 box. I have tried to follow the Sketchup Sage site http://sites.google.com/site/sketchupsage/problems/linux After installing Wine and Sketchup, I have ?Wine Files? under the new GNOME-3 Applications and when I open it I get what looks like a Windows window. Hey guys I desperately want to install FSX, please don't post anything referring me to another sim, I already have it on another comp and I want to link them, I decided to use linux(Ubuntu 10.1) on this machine(programming reasons) so using wine that I installed three days ago, should have Wine triks, I attempted to install FSX but I got err. 1603. I installed QCharts on my wine app on Mandriva. Qcharts has run fine in the past when using Ubuntu. Qcharts installed but when attempting to execute the program, the wine glass begins going around in circles for about 30 seconds, Qcharts does not open and the wine glass disappears. Is this a permission problem with Mandriva or something else. Thanks.

Hi I've installed Wine on my openSUSE 11.3 x64 box. I'm trying to install Sage Instant accounts but keep getting the Error 1628 message. I've been searching most of the evening and trying the various fixes (run from command line, rename the InstallerShield folder etc) but to no avail. Do I just need to accept that Sage Instant won't work and go back to the (slow) VirtualBox?

folks, hi, after some quiet advice i've tracked down a method for compiling python2.5 using msvcr80 that _will_ actually work both under native win32 and also under wine, but it's a _bit_ dodgy, as i couldn't track down where you're supposed to put Microsoft.VC80.CRT, except in the path of the application where it's running from. so, instead, i put the _contents_ of Microsoft.VC80.CRT.manifest into the manifest for the file, and this _does_ actually seem to work. i'm thinking of adding the Microsoft.VC80.CRT.manifest to the rc file (for compilation...

Hello, I just upgraded to the latest Wine Version 1.1.27. Unfortunately Runes of Magic won't start at all.
