wine users - Jan 2012 - Installing FM

Hi, i'm pretty new to Linux and having a little problem with installing FM
2012. I've tried installing via Steam and it isn't possible (If anyone
knows how it is please tell me!) So i've done a little reading and trying to
install using Playonlinux but having a few problems. First of all I followed
this guide

. Once POL asks me where I want to load my install from (CD) I hit next and it
asks me if I want to make another shortcut, I hit I don't want to make
another short cut and this is my full terminal start to finish. I can't
understand what's going wrong because I'm running sudo and the program
just closes! Can anyone help? :(

Ask on the PlayOnLinux forum. Third party wrappers are not supported here; this
forum is for plain Wine.

Outside howtos aren't supported here either. Ask the person who wrote it for
help.

Look at the Steam Applications Database page for hints on how to run
programs installed via Steam.  If the program will not install from
Steam, please capture a log file and post it to a site like
pastebin.com and post only the URL in this topic.

wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log provide steps on how to do this.

Hi James, I've tried everything but can't find the install location for
FM 12 under steam, I've got the .dmp file which is the error that comes up
if that's any good? [/img]
