wine users - Nov 2011 - wbfs and framwork 3.5 help

Hello i'm trying to load wbfs manager 3.0, but it won't load, it tried
but then just quits.
I'm thinking that I need microsoft frame work 3.5, do I have downloaded this
and try to install, it always fails just before the end. When i try in terminal
, sh winetricks dotnet30 it also fails giving this message "Note: command
'wine sc delete FontCache3.0.0.0' returned status 1.  Aborting."

i'm using ubuntu 11.04. anyone got any ideas?

I'm trying to back up my wii games, onto an external hard drive, I have this
working before, but had to reinstall 11.04 after upgrading to 11.10 didn't
work

Make sure you have the latest Wine, the latest winetricks, and are using a clean
wineprefix.

Look for the hidden .wine directory:

In a terminal/console session:

[code]
cd $HOME
ls -a .wine
[/code]
should return .wine  If it does not then the following will not work

and then use the remove command on this directory:

rm -rf .wine
[/code]
or you could move it aside using the following command:
[code]
mv .wine{,.backup}
[/code]
If you want to keep the current prefix for any reason (such as you
have installed a program that works with Wine and do not want to
install it a second time.)

got the frameworks 3.5 installed. Bloody wbfs manager 3.0 still won't load,
its getting further now, giving me an error. the annoying thing is I've had
this working before,

There are native wbfs tools. Use those and create functions to your .bashrc,
much more convenient than silly GUI managers.

i did use a clean wineprefix. 

I have had it working , not so long ago so would have been with the same version
of wine. Its was working perfect, but know just cant get it going. I will try
and file the bug, see if I can do that. Hopefully in the meantime on of you
boffins will figure out what to do
