wine users - Sep 2011 - Does winetricks run wine?

Hi,

Does winetricks run the wine executable? Reason is, I have several versions of
wine installed in separate directories.  I want to know if I need to tell
winetricks which version to use. I'd appreciate it if anyone could either
tell me that (1) I shouldn't worry about it, it doesn't matter which
version of wine is installed, or (2) how to tell winetricks which wine
executable to use.
