these apps dont have an install you just download them and they run but when i click on the app it has a pinwheel like its loading and then that goes away and nothing happens am i doing anything wrong or does wine just not run those types of programs i have wine 1.2.2 and im useing ubuntu 11.04

You'll have to add the wine development ppa to do this. James
ok thanks sorry the programs a modding tools for xbox 360 (modio, ezgt 2.2, le fluffie, usb xtaf xplorer) i had version 1.3.15 and sorry but whats the source for the newest wine because ubuntu software center only comes with the one for 1.2.2 and 1.3.15

The 11.04 Wine Development ppa should have at a minimum 1.3.23 and there are reports that it has 1.3.24. You can visit the Downloads page from the main WineHQ page and this should have a download link for Ubuntu 11.04. James
yer i got the newest version now thanks and im running ubuntu 11.04
and they still dont work on the new one
