i tried patch-wine-nvidia.sh but no luck. nvidia-xsettings says i'm not using an nvidia driver, i have nvidia.ko loaded and running, my xorg.conf says driver "nv". I'm not sure what the correct nvidia driver i should be using..I got SLi: True in xorg.conf. I tried using patch-wine-nvidia.sh but no luck. I have all the necessary .so files copied into /usr/lib32 and /usr/lib..etc. Maybe if i knew what driver works with nvidia-settings I might get this thing to work. please help this nvidia stuff is so weird. i'm running wine64 on freebsd-8.2. noticed i get a opengl error in xterm. This is the message i get Failed to load libGL: /usr/local/bin/../lib32/libGL.so.1: Und efined symbol ?_nv007tls?
I just tried to install mesa drivers , the gmake does not finish because of an error in ir_constant_expression.cpp. i tried to configure with DRI and Xlib. so i have a feeling mesa drivers are broken for 64bit.
> I just tried to install mesa driversYou certainly do not want that if you need GPU performance. Same goes for the open source nv driver. You need the proprietary nVidia binary driver. John
I see you mentioned running wine64 on freebsd-8.2 in your first post. I really should not be helping with that since I do not use freebsd. Sorry. John
I successfully installed the newest nvidia drivers NVIDIA-FreeBSD-x86_64-275.09.04.tar.gz Dated 6/3/11 Wine now gives me a different error than before. [Rolling Eyes] [Image: http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/5089/outputy.jpg ]

Hi I tried to log the output from wine Gw.exe &> log.txt like it says in the FAQ, also tried without & or with 2> or > log.txt but the log is blank. Running Freebsd-8.2 amd64
