hey guys i installed civilization 4 complete on ubuntu 10.04 running wine 1.2.2 after a few tweaks i got the game to run, but when i start up an actual game and try to play i the landscape in game turns pitch white and i am unable to see anything. also when i run the game it is in like a smaller window than wine, proximately 1/4 the size of the wine window which is full screen. when running world of warcraft (which i got to run better than in windows) i can get a full screen mode any advice or help would be grateful!

This appears to be related to a known problem with ATI video cards. Second, if you are not using an nVidia video card and you and upgrade to one, please do so. Third, please update to wine-devel (currently 1.3.19 or 1.3.20). Fourth, please visit the Applications database and read up on what others have done for this program. James McKenzie
