I am trying to run homeworld 2, and I am facing three problems: I cannot install direct x because I do not have net framework I cannot install net framework because I do not know. I cannot get the auto run thingy to find the cd, neither the files I copied over, nor the cd drive. I am running Mac OS X 10.5.8, wine 1.3.19, and I believe I tried installing net framework 2. Anyone want to help?
you need to do some research on your own going through the appdb entry. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=2616 You more than likely do not need to install DirectX, since Wine already has its own version... but if you need to install anything like that, including .NET, you should look at Winetricks. http://wiki.winehq.org/winetricks
