wine users - Apr 2011 - Browser in Wine

What version of browser either Firefox or IE do I install for wine applications.
I tried Firefox and it seemed that I always got the Linux version. I tried IE
and got message that the version was not compatible.

Try installing them with winetricks.

Neither. Wine uses purposely built wine_gecko. It should be installed as a
separate package on your distro.
