wine users - Apr 2011 - Winetricks permission denied

When I put in "./winetricks vcrun2005 ie6 d3dx9",
I get an error that says "bash: ./winetricks: Permission denied"

What can I do to remedy this? I'm trying to get League of Legends to work on
Ubuntu @_@
