Hi TM, I get the stripes in Silkypix if Photoshop 7 is also installed, it is
fine by itself.
 I deleted the files in c:/windows/system32/spool/drivers/color and made it read
only like you suggested here

and the stripes are gone.

My question is, does this affect anything else (in Photoshop or Silkypix) or
just fixes the stripes in Silkypix?

I have also downloaded the dlls files from here

- are they replacements for same files already in the Windows folder? 

And do I need to worry about them if the deletion of the files from
c:/windows/system32/spool/drivers/color seems to work?

TM, I just looked at the downloaded files from

and I have no idea what to do with them...could you post some sort of
instructions? Thanks a lot, sorry I am not knowledgeable enough.
This has been great help already, not being able to use PS7 and Silkypix on the
same computer was a major problem for me.

I just tried reinstalling both Photoshop 7 and Silkypix 3.1. to check something:
Silkypix fine, when PS7 installed colour stripes appear... but if I untick
"Enable display color management" in Display options, the stripes
disappear.
