[Wine] Steam crashes at startup (with no error message) on Ubuntu
Hello, I have issues launching Steam with Wine on my Kubuntu 10.10 x64. When I try to launch it, it exits just after having displayed the Steam interface. It not even displays any error message. Here is the log messages produced by Wine when I try to launch Steam (obtained by launchingSteam with the command "WINEDEBUG=warn+all wine ./Steam 2> steamlaunch.log" (sorry for the megaupoload link): steamlaunch.log (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=45G5OILF) Does someone has an idea of what can resolve this issue? Thanks in advance![/url]

[Wine] Re: Steam crashes at startup (with no error message) on Ubuntu
Oh, and here is my wine version: wine-1.2.2-1ubuntu1~maverick2 I noted that the amd64 version (beta release, binary emulator and library) has been installed with the standard (all) version. And my video drivers are the following (I have an ATI Radeon HD 5870): fglrx 2:8.801-0ubuntu1~xup~maverick

And make sure you did install 32-bit part of the driver (a separate package, ask your distro forum for details).
