wine users - Feb 2011 - UBUNTU 10.10+WINE+STEAM=Counter Source dosent works

I am VERY newbie with the Ubuntu system, let say that in the first place.

Ok, the install was very easy and intuitive. From the software center i got Wine
and install it too. Then i get the latest 3d drivers for my graphic card and
finally install the Steam without problems. Download Counter Source really fast
and ....when i try to execute it, does nothing.

No errors, just the clock thinking a few seconds and then nothing.

Please, ask me everything you need in order to help me.

First:  Please take time to look through the forum as this subject has been
discussed AT LENGTH.
Second:  Please take time to look at the Steam entry in the Applications
Database.  There is much information that can help overcome this problem.

http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=1163 is the
AppDb entry for Steam.  There was no entry for Counter Source.
