Unless the application is very simple, reinstallation in Wine is required. Do
NOT link a Windows program installation into Wine.>

You will need to re-install the game in Wine. You MAY be able to link to the
games 'save' area in Windows. The best source for this information is
the Applications Database where other people have rated the programs you want to
use and how they made them install/work.

The only 'dumb' question is that which is not asked. However, reviewing
