[Wine] .Net 3.0 needed to work---- HELP!

Please excuse me if I have duplicated a post. I am in need to get the .Net
Framework 3.0 to install correctly. When I try to install I receive the
following:

Which version of wine?  wine-1.3.5 and later have broken this installer;
try wine-1.3.4 or so.  See also

1.3.4 is not available only 1.2 and 1.3.6    I found 1.3.4 and downloaded it,
but the readme  does not work right no configure and install tells to install
"Flex" package? Not sure what this is any ideas? Still wet behind the
ears in Linux.
