wine users - Oct 2010 - Moneyworks Gold

Hi all

First of all I'm completely new to Linux and WINE. I've been toying
around for about a week now and have to say I'm quite impressed. So far
I've manage to get Office 2007 working through WINE hassle free :). I've
managed to find some great alternatives to almost every other program I use in
Windows. Unfortunately Moneyworks is an accounting program which is necessary
and doesn't natively support Linux. When I try to run the setup.exe i get:

I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 and WINE 1.1.42

Any ideas? I'm hoping it's as simple as installing some missing packages
like I had to with Office?

Looks like it is time for two things:

One:  Update the Applications Database entry for Moneyworks Gold to reflect that
it does not work with Wine 1.2/1.3.x
Two:  Conduct a regression test to determine which software updates between
1.1.42 and 1.2 broke Moneyworks Gold so that the problem can be properly
corrected.  This should be documented in a bug report on Wine's Bugzilla.
