wine users - Oct 2010 - Install Metatrader 5 ( wine 1.2 on Mac Os x ) help me ?

Hi all

I installed sucusseful metatrader 5, however, when run it, appears this error:

" A debugger has been found running in your system. Please, unload it from
memory and restart your program."

what is this error?

Your app is mistaking Wine for a debugger.

Hello there,

when i start for example winecfg or some application (sorry, i cannot say, 
which particular apps these are), i get

wine: cannot find L"C:\\windows\\SYSTEM32\\astsrv.exe"

nearly every time. On google i found out, that this something to do with 
nalperions licensing service.

after that winecfg will start despite of this "error" (?), but some
apps wont.
i don't know if this error has got anything to do with it. how can i fix
this
issue?

Looks like this application has adopted some sort of 'non-Windows' check
and this is failing on Wine because it is not Windows.

I would contact the producer of this software to have this corrected.  
Sadly, we cannot do anything to fix this.

I have the same problem :) 

I just started using ubuntu on my laptop, wine had to come with it and i need
metatrader 5 t owork on it.

Tried using WINE to make it run, but got the problem stated above. 

Is there any possible way to make this program ( or any other) not mistake WINE
for a debugger?
