wine users - Sep 2010 - update causes game bug to incorrectly display text

after the update, the game i was emulating royal envoy.. started to display the
text layers all wrong... can i remove the curent update n revert to the previous
version in ubuntu??

Are you absolutely sure this is an ubuntu update that caused this?  Would this
happen to be a steam game?
