wine users - Aug 2010 - world of warcraft - black under characters

Im trying to run WOW on ubuntu 10.04 with wine 1.2. The only problem I have is
big squares of black that are constantly under my character and any other
player/npc

Same thing happening to me , i was hoping someone would have the answer to this
problem here .

did u try different video settings of dynamic shadows (or other effects)?
