wine users - Mar 2010 - how to see an USB disk through Wine

hi all,

I have the following problem:

I have an USB disk which gets correctly seen by Linux Mint and gets mounted on
the /media directory; how can I see it on Wine?

I am using Wine 1.01 installed via apt-get

PS: trying to add it through winecfg apparently works, but Windows applications
tell me that there is no media on drive when I try to access it

Ok make sure wine has not mixed usb key up for usb cdrom.

Yes it is possiable.  winecfg drives advanced and if it a usb key make sure it
set harddrive.

as I said above, using wincfg resulted in "no media in the device"
error. if this is the only way to do it, there must be something with my hard
disk which Wine does not like
