wine users - Jan 2010 - New to wine trying to install linux labs sim for class

Hello I am using Fedora 12, and I am taking classes for my linux certification
but the lab sim disk only plays on windows, I am struggling trying to get it
installed on my unit and completely be done with windows.

What exactly is the problem?

I agree.   You have Linux.  Use and abuse it.  Have fun with it.  A simulator
can only go so far and runs WAY slower than the real thing.

You need to install the i386 version.  the x64 version still has problems that
might be preventing the use of the Simulator program.

If you mean you've installed the 64-bit Wine package, that's your
problem. 64 bit Wine is not ready for use. Uninstall 64 bit Wine and install 32
bit.
