wine users - Jan 2010 - Wine Kernel integration

Is there any project that integrates wine system calls into the Linux kernel, in
a way to increase the speed of the programs that are running?
And another question: is there a way to use USB device drivers on Wine, such as
printers, cameras, scanners.
I have a Lexmark X85 that isn't supported in Linux. Do someone knows a
tutorial to make it working?

Not supported, yet.  However, there is a FAQ page that will point you to
patches to support various USB devices.  One comment:  Get a real
printer, not one that is only supported under Windows, you will be much
happier.

I agree with you about real printers. Personally I would make a campaign against
the brands that don't care about Linux users.
Speaking of it, is there a blacklist of hardware that don't work with Linux
that I can trust?

I would like to do reverse engineering on the drivers of my printer.
Is there some way to get the USB traffic through Virtual Box USB interface?
