wine users - Dec 2009 - MCI Avi Video Playback Problem

There is a nice little subtitle editor named SubCreator I'd like to get run
with wine.

For a xvid video I installed the codec from the K-Lite Codec Pack.
Unfortunately, the video stays black and I cannot jump to a specific video
position.

Is there any chance to get this run?

It needs native msvfw32.dll. That allows the file to play; as to whether other
things work, I don't know how to use this app well enough to test.

I noticed that the app can also use the Windows Media Player engine, so you
could try installing that with winetricks and see if that works better.
