but I bundle DOSbox up into a .app on Macs with all the programs inside of it to
make "ports" of software that looks just like a Mac .app file and
double click to run, completely self contained and runs great....

Sorry if I'm reviving an old thread, but I'm just posting to remember
where I've been.
Anyway, I have recently installed WINE to run some DOS programs in Kubuntu 9.10
and none are working. As per suggestion here, I'm switching to DOSBox. Hmm.
Now, I have to figure out how to access my Windows drive.
