wine users - Dec 2009 - Printing condensed type fonts in wine

Hello friends,
I am having a windows based program called Tally and I have installed it in wine
under Ubuntu 8.10. It works quite nicely except a problem that it cannot print
some condensed font types used in Tally. Can any one share Idea on how Wine
deals with the fonts or where the exact problem in above example could be.

What do you mean by "cannot print"? What happens when you try? You say
"some condensed font types"--exactly which fonts? Are the affected
fonts  installed in ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/fonts?

You didn't mention what version of Wine you're using. If it's not
the latest development release, upgrade.
