The Wine HQ Project has forgotten to launch the deb packager for Ubuntu Karmic ? A lot of time has passed since Ubuntu Karmic is available and the deb packages for Karmic not Sorry for my poor english
I don't know where you looked but if you just visit the download page on winehq.org it clearly mentions that the latest ubuntu 9.10 packages are in ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa. Wine 1.1.33 was added quickly after release. Wine 1.1.34 which came out only a few hours ago will likely be added this weekend.

I dont understand why this big big big delay with the Karmic deb Packages :-(
zcully wrote:> I dont understand why this big big big delay with the Karmic deb Packages :-(There is no delay. They are kept in a PPA and you can find them "the old way" here: http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-wine/ppa/ubuntu/pool/main/w/wine/

zcully wrote:> I cant see there the packages for ubuntu 9.10You are right, sorry, I read 8.10 instead of 9.10. *Goes away to his shadowy corner*
I tried to change settings so I receive only posting relevant to the topic of my question. But there are no topics to choose from in the setup list. How can I set to receive notes that are relevant and to filter out the others? Roger On Sat, 5 Dec 2009, zcully wrote:> thanks for your help [Wink]
