Hi, there is a addictive app called ColorLines3D from IstraSoft available. I could easily install and play, however since a couple of weeks fedora updated the nvidia driver set (rpmfusion) and this game was kicked out. I found out, that I could go on playing it, when I use the vesa driver together with the fedora standard set of glx, they load and install when vesa driver is used. Now, when fedora 11 (i586) changed wine to version 1.1.29, it still runs my game, but on close wine stucks with error message :fixme:shdocvw:OleObject_Close (0x12e210)->(1) wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000000 at address 0x68920f48 (thread 0009), starting debugger... and I have to kill winedbg (I didn't start winedbg !) to get unfreezed again. ^C[ Color Lines 3D]$ killall -9 winedbg I'd like to clearify this bug.

[Wine] Re: App: ColorLines3D IstraSoft nvidia / glx driver
found a solution: the NVidia GeForce 8200 onboard graphic chip is not supported by nouveau. While the nvidia driver works fine together with GF8200; the glx modules do not properly support this chip when wine is operating. (I don't know the exact mechanism) I "upgraded" my system with a GeForce 8500GT and "downgraded" to use the "nouveau" driver together with MesaGL glx files. with this combination of files and Hardware the support for my games in wine is P E R F E C T !
