wine users - Apr 2009 - MEPIS - WIne won't load Photoshop

Just loaded Wine on my new comp which is 64bit.  I now have MEPIS 8 and am
trying to load PS7 (not a crack).  It doesn't seem to acknowledge any .exe
files.  How can I get it to load?
