[Andreas Krause <Andreas.Krause@genedata.com>] Re: splus shell escapes
Anyone know what the problem is with IRIX 6.5 ? (esp if there is a
solution?). Looks like the built-in math stuff is masking definitions
from R source.
(passing this along for a friend).

Using CentOS 7 to attempt recovery of failed disk
...ation image will be wrong after the first error.
You also need bs=4096 so that ONLY the bad sector(s) get zeroed, and not the surrounding ones. If you have, say,
bs=1M, then you will get a megabyte of zeros if any block within that megabyte is bad.
I'm speaking from recent experience!

I'm aware I could do this with a separate control program using the

using AGI if possible.
Can anyone suggest any ideas or better techniques?
Thanks in advance!

Best config for 12 FXO system?
...cards (based on TDM400P)
b) one TDM04B and one TDM808B
c) one TDM804B (or TDM854B?) and one TDP808B
d) one TDM2403B (half filled TDM2400P)
Apart from considerations of cost and PCI slot availability, are there any
technical reasons to choose one of the above configurations over the others?

Can anyone explain why I need the Answer? It feels wrong that I should.
The siptrunk entry contains canreinvite=no and directmedia=no.
The version of Asterisk on these boxes is 10.5.1, if that's relevant.
Thanks for any insight!

So is this when an exception comes, and if so can someone explain to me why

add the number of times it is assigning a 1.

C6: latest util-linux-ng dependency on kernel?
...necessary in this environment.
I have allowed it on one Linode and rebooted it. All seems ok and it is
still running the host-supplied kernel, but it still grates that an
unused kernel should have been required to be installed.
Is this an error in util-linux-ng, or a real new requirement?

Strange text on Asterisk console

If I do "asterisk -rvvvvv" on a normal login, either via the console

Does anyone have any ideas what is causing this and how to fix it?
Thanks

FastAGI Command Execution
I've noticed that with FastAGI (and maybe AGI) that when you sequentially send a sequence of dial commands, if the call is picked up, that after the call ends, the Fast AGI script keeps executing the commands!
Is there anyway to stop execution once a call is picked up? I think looking at the result codes after the Dial to determine if the call was picked up or not is not a good idea... if it

Any ideas?
