wine users - Feb 2009 - Wine 1.1.4 reports version 1.0.1?

I've installed Wine 1.1.4 into Ubuntu Intrepid using the Wine HQ
repositories.  At least that is what Synaptic is telling me.  Is it expected to
see "1.0.1" when running "wine --version"?  If not, I'm
wondering if I have things correctly installed?

This was my fault.  When I checked the version, I was running a shell to another
machine.  The machine that I expected to have 1.1.14 installed on does report
1.1.14.
