I just installed Quicken Deluxe 2009 using (I believe) Wine 1.1.14 (it reports 1.0.1 as mentioned in a different forum post). The installation went fine and it seems to run, but the tabs should have text on them that isn't showing. Any thoughts as to what I might be able to do to solve this issue? Thanks, Craig
Never mind.... I'm an idiot. I just realized I was running in a shell against another machine.
Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, it didn't solve the problem. Running from a terminal yields the following messages: fixme:ole:TLB_ReadTypeLib Header type magic 0x00905a4d not supported. err:ole:TLB_ReadTypeLib Loading of typelib L"C:\\Program Files\\Quicken\\QWUTIL.dll" failed with error 0 err:ole:TLB_ReadTypeLib Loading of typelib L"C:\\Program Files\\Quicken\\QWUTIL.tlb" failed with error 2 fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x32f5ac,0x00000000), stub! fixme:dciman:DCICreatePrimary 0x3dc 0xab129c Any other thoughts?
I am getting the same result with Quicken Deluxe R4 and wine v1.1.15. Running XP on a VirtualBox installation with the same configuration does work. Is there some file(s) that could be borrowed from the VB installation to the wine installation?
